Located on a little hill, The Log House Lodge offers a unique and authentic experience. It's the perfect place to base yourself for a trip to Sequoia National Park. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with attention to detail in their decor. Maureen, the innkeeper, is warm and friendly, providing excellent service. The homemade breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and the sitting room and deck area offer a lovely space to relax. Plus, the surrounding area offers breathtaking views and a homely touch.

The driveway is steep and narrow, posing a challenge for some guests.

The breakfast was excellent there. Good location for our city break. No complaints with the hotel. It was definitely 3 stars for us.

The room had a comfy bed and clean sheets, also there were some complimentary toiletries. the location was great for exploring a nearby national park and had easy access to a convenience store.

The room was really small and claustrophobic, with barely enough space to move around. the walls were thin, and we could hear everything our neighbor did or said.

The lodge had a rustic decor with nice wooden furniture and smelled like nature. The breakfast was good and organic, with locally sourced ingredients. , it was located near a national park.

The shower had very low water pressure and the toilet was difficult to flush. These problems became a real inconvenience, and the room was overpriced considering the self-catering aspect of the amenities and the vulnerability to noise from the adjoining rooms.

What a wonderful stay! The perfect place to unwind and enjoy a little piece of paradise. The charming vintage decor and fascinating details everywhere were the best aspects of our stay. The breakfast was a real joy, homecooked and delicious, satisfying for a long day of exploring nearby attractions. Loved how friendly and welcoming the hosts were, making us feel right at home. Also, the location was convenient, just a short drive to nearby restaurants and attractions. it was a lovely experience.

Honestly, there was nothing we disliked during our stay. We felt at home, and the attention to detail and needs of guests were always given.
